Camera Angle Blog Post

In this POV shot at the end of a montage in SpongeBob, SpongeBob in the POV shot shows the amount of work that he has accomplished on an extended period of time. The meaning in more a comedic value is that within the entire night SpongeBob has spent his time only creating a singular word onto his report paper.

This is a medium shot in the show SpongeBob. In the shot squidward gets into a quarrel with an upset customer and it transfers to this medium shot right as Squidward is throwing the pizza at him with the words "Well, this ones on the HOUSE!". The meaning of this shot as well is to show the end of Squidwards frustration from the long ride over with SpongeBob, and finally taking it out on the dissatisfied customer.

In this high shot in the show SpongeBob, SpongeBob is seen in a high angle looking up at pearl waiting for a 'surprise' seen with the words said, " I like surprises." The point of a high shot is to make the subject seem vulnerable and it is proven because shortly after pearl puts a box over him.

In this scene of the show SpongeBob, Squidward is presented in a close-up repeating words such as "rage, fury, irritation, humiliation." The meaning of this shot in the show is to present Squidwards annoyance with the outfit and situation given expressed through monotone voice and negative words.

This Over the Shoulder shot is taken in the show SpongeBob. In this scene SpongeBob is having a conversation with Squidward and seemingly Patrick as well. the meaning of the angle is to express the situation of what is happening, this is shown from the angle that is positioned from behind squidward in the treehouse or seemingly an enclosed space they are in and emphasize the conversation for the mood that is happening; as well as Squidward being 'initiated' into their club within the scene.

Finished Project Feelings Blog Post

I feel dissatisfied with my final opener, I feel if my team members actually pulled their weight and participated that we would of successfully made things correctly up to vision rather than speak about helping then pressure me last minute to complete the entirety of the project. Some issues were filming, it was actually a major issue. I was the only one willing to buy and CORRECTLY use props, I also was the Foley stage for the extra sounds, I also filmed all scenes but 1-2 which had to be modified to make the already easiest scenes easier, and I had to participate in parts of the project that were not my expertise and or my job to do as agreed. I feel like if I had partners who were as dedicated as me we would have had a project that was outstandingly perfect. I learned that if you want things done to do them yourself and to not wait on words, I'm also learned how to correctly modify props and make them fit my view and how to negotiate with actors onto what they would like to do a...

Creative Critical Reflection Post

How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?   The movie is themed as a mystery horror, the stereotypical black wearing killer was not seen in ours or that it was someone of a less fortunate backstory. We also kept stereotypes within our film by the killer being unmasked, but also combated this by the killer being shown and present in the first scene rather than later introduced. How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?   It is meant to attract and hold medias focus with its mystery aspect part of it, every individual who i have spoken to about this film has mentioned that it is unsolved and that they are curious about it and don't understand, leeching for more information to be provided. The wow aspect for our film is generally meant to be the solving of this crime as everything unfolds, in what we filmed it does not included that wow factor as much as it d...
